Activities near Pacbitun Farm: Bol’s Cave Museum
After a brief hilly, jungle hike and superb vista, you and a member of the Bol family will descend through a narrow, (app/ 36” diameter) natural opening to discover over 1000 artifacts found at the site that tell the story of Maya life.
Also known as “Bol’s Cave Museum,” this unique site offers the variety of artifacts one might find in an archaeological museum, but those have been removed from their sites of origin. This significant array of artifacts was found and remains “in situ,” organized on cave ledges only to protect them from visitor feet.
